Marilixe Beernink will be guest speaker at the last Entrepreneurship lunch of 2018.
Marilixe is currently working on her dissertation about entrepreneurship in cultural goods by museums from a strictly legal perspective, but she is also interested in a broader concept of museum entrepreneurship. This subject is very current in society, in politics and in the cultural sector itself. In her presentation she will provide us with a brief explanation of the legal issues, and will further discuss entrepreneurship of museums more generally. Marilixe will go deeper into questions like: are museums entrepreneurs? How do the government and the museums approach entrepreneurship and what are their limitations?

For whom?
Teacher-researchers and Lectors with an interest in Entrepreneurship, not necessary from the Business/ Economic faculties. Both AUAS and external researchers and teachers are invited to present their work and discuss current entrepreneurship issues with a select audience.

Why should you be there?
The Entrepreneurship lunches are highly interactive lunch gatherings, stimulating cross-fertilization and knowledge exchange between entrepreneurship-minded and researchers from all disciplines.

When and where?
The lunches take place every two weeks in the Amsterdam Venture Studios Amstelcampus, Wibautstraat 3B.
