Marije Poel will share her activities and research plans of the Smart Cities Lab.
Marije has an MSc in Urban Geography and worked for several years as a consultant at Royal Haskoning DHV. Since 2017 she works as a program manager for the Academy uniting researchers and lecturers from across the AUAS in the field of Smart Cities. With a multi-disciplinary team, she works on different aspects of smart city projects, such as entrepreneurship, public private partnerships, user involvement, business cases, democracy by design and (big) data.

For whom?
Teacher-researchers and Lectors with an interest in Entrepreneurship, not necessary from the Business/ Economic faculties. Both AUAS and external researchers and teachers are invited to present their work and discuss current entrepreneurship issues with a select audience.

Why should you be there?
The Entrepreneurship lunches are highly interactive lunch gatherings, stimulating cross-fertilization and knowledge exchange between entrepreneurship-minded and researchers from all disciplines.

When and where?
The lunches take place every two weeks in the Amsterdam Venture Studios Amstelcampus, Wibautstraat 3B.
