Amsterdam Venture Studios @ Amstel Campus is the ‘clubhouse’ that provides a home for all enterprising students aspiring to recognize and exploit opportunities that may change the world. While primarily focused on AUAS students, Amstel Campus also welcome students, researchers, teachers and artists of all higher education institutions of Amsterdam to participate in its programs and community. The AUAS Entrepreneurship Program offers the stepping stones towards real impact of ideas developed during study, research or internship.
The Amstel Campus of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is located at the heart of the ‘Knowledge Mile’ which stretches from Amsterdam city center towards the southeast, parallel to the Amstel river. It is surrounded by big and small companies, cultural institutions and municipal departments, many of which provide access to relevant data, networks, facilities and other resources relevant for young ambitious entrepreneurs.
Mr.Prezident is a presentation design agency and Prezi reseller founded with the support of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA). Pieter Bosschaart, founder & commercial director: “We help companies with storytelling and graphic design to transform their basic slide decks into appealing visuals and a well thought-out story. It took six months to start the company and earn credits for it. We were assisted by mentors and other entrepreneurs, and by fellow talented students.”
