Amsterdam Venture Studios @ Humanities Lab is tuned to facilitate the many forms of innovation in the Humanities. It offers a stimulating environment for humanities start-ups to stage experiments and to present themselves. AVS Humanities Lab offers dedicated coaching to enable students, staff and alumni to discover new perspectives on realizing their ambitions.
Are you walking around with a creative idea and do you wish to turn into an organization? The Humanities Lab is a lively co-working space where ideas can grow and people can interact. It is also a spotlight on, and jumping board to education on entrepreneurship. And thus its creates more impact for research done in the humanities field and career opportunities for students.

Amsterdam Venture Studios @ Humanities Lab is located at the University of Amsterdam’s City Center Campus, at the heart of the historic city. This is also home to the Faculty of Humanities and the University Library. Adding to this, several national humanities research institutes are located here. The close proximity of the museums, cultural institutions and media organizations add to the unique position and strength of this Amsterdam humanities cluster.
